BHP PV ROCK Profile Pack

Based on the Peavey Rockmaster tube guitar preamp. The PV ROCK pack perfectly captures the essence of the 3 tube channels of CLEAN, CRUNCH and ULTRA. This is not a jack-of-all-trades kind of preamp. In fact, the preamp generally has 1 or 2 positions on the tone knobs to hit the sweet spots. The Clean is CLEAN! No dirt there at all. However, it is a fantastic clean sound. Full bodied and clear. Crunch is a British style crunch asking to go straight to the rock tones. Ultra is where the fun really starts. Excellent controlled high gain tones, that can deliver absolute crushing scooped metal tones, or perfect 80's shred, or fat modern leads. This was the preamp of choice for Andy Timmons during his time with the band Danger Danger.
